Cut the Rope Remastered

Om Nom returns in a 3D remaster of the legendary physics puzzler, exclusive to Apple Arcade. I ran the title's post-launch live-ops — as the team's de-facto day-to-day lead — shipping seasonal content, new modes, and the tooling behind them.

What I built
  • Helped design and build the board-game mode that became the centrepiece of the seasonal updates.
  • Built an event-automation system so seasonal events start and end on schedule — no app update, no store-review wait.
  • Shipped new gameplay drawn from the series' history — like the portal — plus fresh “mini story” level sets alongside the seasonal events.
  • Replaced hardcoded event notifications with a proper notification system, and kept the game's custom shaders alive through successive Unity upgrades.
  • Built the Apple Retail Store demo (the in-store display build) almost single-handed.
  • Handled analytics within Apple Arcade's constraints, plus day-to-day live-ops and maintenance across the app.
The story

The quiet flex of this project: it ran on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and visionOS — and a player's save file followed them across all five. Every update we shipped had to stay backward-compatible, even with different platforms running different versions of the game. Careful, unglamorous work that players only notice when it's missing.
